As they say at the Reese’s Senior Bowl, The Draft Starts In Mobile. This phrase holds very true as hundreds and hundreds of credentialed media converge at the all-star game. There have been plenty of winners and losers during the week of practice, many of which you’ll find below. I’ve assembled out latest mock draft, a 2023 NFL Mock Draft 4 Rounds with trades. this contains some of our rankings, as well as some of what we’ve heard from NFL Insiders.
Be sure to follow NFL Draft Lounge for more coverage on the 2023 NFL Draft, as well as 2023 NFL Mock Draft 4 rounds coverage. As always, you can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
** 1. Indianapolis Colts (Via Chicago Bears)
CJ Stroud, QB, Ohio State
The Colts have relied too heavily on a Band-Aid fix for a long-term problem at the quarterback position. I don’t think we’ll really have a good idea in terms of the quarterback that they want to target until the NFL Combine, but by moving up here, they’ll have their pick at the top three.
2. Houston Texans
Bryce Young, QB, Alabama
With their HC DeMeco Ryans in place, the Houston Texans can now turn their full attention on the quarterback position. With CJ Stroud off the board in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft 4 rounds mock, it opens the door for the Texans to select Alabama QB Bryce Young.
3. Arizona Cardinals
Will Anderson Jr, EDGE, Alabama
JJ Watt announced his retirement as the 2022 NFL season came to a close, creating an imminent need at defensive end. Anderson Jr is the best in his class at the position. However, I’m not that confident that Myles Murphy or Tyree Wilson couldn’t sneak into this spot either. But for now, I think it’s Will Anderson Jr for the Arizona Cardinals.
** 4. Chicago Bears (Via Indianapolis Colts)
Jalen Carter, DL, Georgia
If the Chicago Bears keep the first overall pick, which I find them unlikely to do so, I think Will Anderson Jr is the pick. However, if they’re able to find a trade partner, it’s likely Jalen Carter or Quentin Johnston, depending on how far down the board they move. If it’s outside of the top five, and out of the reach of Jalen Carter, look for them to target a playmaker at wide receiver.
** 5. Carolina Panthers (Via Seattle Seahawks)
Will Levis, QB, Kentucky
I have the Carolina Panthers moving up in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft 4 rounds mock to leap over the Las Vegas Raiders. Both teams are in need of a quarterback, and Seattle would be a likely trade partner. It should take too much to move up in this situation, swapping first round picks, adding in a future 2nd day pick, and worst case, swapping a mid-round pick.
6. Detroit Lions
Myles Murphy, EDGE, Clemson
I know that the consensus among NFL Draft analysts is that the Lions would be looking for a cornerback with this selection. However, let’s break this down. Detroit has two young corners in Jeff Okudah and Will Harris. Adding a third is a possibility, but I’m not sure if it’s the best thing for the franchise long-term. Rather, let’s mock the best available EDGE rusher on the board in Myles Murphy.
7. Las Vegas Raiders
Paris Johnson Jr, OT, Ohio State
The Raiders, now out of the QB race in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft, could look to free agency for a temporary solution. The offensive line is an area of concern for me, and one that should be addressed with a top pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Paris Johnson Jr is the top offensive lineman available, and as a result, an easy decision for Las Vegas.
8. Atlanta Falcons
Tyree Wilson, EDGE, Texas Tech
Plain and Simple – the Atlanta Falcons just need to get better on both sides of the ball. Tyree Wilson is a versatile defensive pass rusher that’s able to hold his own in a variety of positions. I think he fits best as an outside linebacker, but defensive end, and even tackle, are positions he thrives in as well.
** 9. Seattle Seahawks (Via Carolina Panthers)
Bryan Bresee, DL, Clemson
Seattle moves back four spots in this 2023 NFL Mock 4 Rounds mock, but more importantly, grabs a player that they were probably going to target anyways. I have the Seahawks investing in the defensive front, an area in which they could certainly afford to get younger in.
** 10. New England Patriots (Via Philadelphia Eagles)
Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU
The New England Patriots don’t have a wide receiver on this roster that defenses need to game plan for. DeVante Parker is entering the final year of his contract and will be 32 years old by the times he plays on his new deal.
It’s not going to take much for the Patriots to move up in the 2023 NFL Draft. In doing so, they’ll be able to sneak in front of several teams that are almost certain to be in the market for a receiver.
11. Tennessee Titans
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State
The Tennessee Titans could look to address their offensive line depth, but I don’t believe that the need is worthy of a first-round pick. Rather, let’s find a slot receiver that can make plays across the middle of the field. In this case, that’s Jaxon Smith-Njigba. However, if they opt to address receiver with a second-round pick, it could be Tennessee’s Jalin Hyatt.
12. Houston Texans
Joey Porter Jr, CB, Penn State
Houston has Derek Stingley Jr and Jalen Pitre in the secondary, and they’re fantastic, but let’s add to that. Couple that with the reality that they’re probably out of range for an EDGE rusher. Joey Porter Jr can play from day one, but more importantly, is an immediate upgrade for this Texans roster.
13. New York Jets
Peter Skoronski, OT, Northwestern
If the Jets want to keep Mekhi Becton at right tackle, which I believe is a more natural position for him, then they’d be wise to find a permanent left tackle in this draft class. Peter Skoronski has remained at the top of this draft class throughout the season, and in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft 4 round mock, he’s the best available tackle on the board.
** 14. Philadelphia Eagles (Via New England Patriots)
Christian Gonzalez, CB, Oregon
We’ve only seen one cornerback come off the board in this mock draft, which is why it made sense to have the Eagles trade down. With them moving back to 14 in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft, they can still get a top corner on the board, as well as obtain additional draft capital. All in all, it would be a smart move for Philadelphia in this situation.
15. Green Bay Packers
Jordan Addison, WR, Southern California
Regardless of the quarterback situation in Green Bay, I think the pick here needs to be wide receiver.
Christian Watson was a pleasant surprise for the Packers this season as a rookie. Allen Lazard made it clear that his future isn’t in Green Bay, which opens the door at slot. Jordan Addison, the 2021 Biletnikoff Award winner, would be the best available option for the Packers at this draft selection.
16. Washington Commanders
Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia
CB Kendall Fuller is entering his final year of the four-year deal he signed with Washington. Unless they’re able to sign him to a long-term contract, which I doubt, he could be looking to play elsewhere. Kelee Ringo has slid down several draft boards, but I still think he’s a talent at CB. It’s not a pressing need for Washington, but one that they can afford to make without reaching for a quarterback.
17. Pittsburgh Steelers
Cam Smith, CB, South Carolina
Simply put – the Steelers need to find a long-term solution at cornerback this offseason. Cam Smith and Devon Witherspoon are the best available options remaining on the draft board. If I’m Pittsburgh, I’d much prefer looking for the answer in April rather than relying on free agency, which would come at a much higher price.
18. Detroit Lions
Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame
There’s the thought out there that Michael Mayer may not be the best tight end in this draft class, and I just can’t get behind it. In fact, I’ll go so far as to say that there isn’t one thing that I’d confidently suggest that anyone does better than Mayer.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Isaiah Foskey, EDGE, Notre Dame
Isaiah Foskey has shown a lot of consistency down here in Mobile for the 2023 Reese’s Senior Bowl. He’s looked the part all week and held his own against some of the top offensive linemen here.
With Tom Brady’s retirement, the Buccaneers need to find a quarterback. However, I don’t think the long-term answer is in the 2023 NFL Draft. Rather, they should look towards the 2024 NFL Draft, which is loaded with draft-eligible prospects at the position.
20. Seattle Seahawks
Brian Branch, S, Alabama
Brian Branch is a versatile defensive back that’s able to play any position in the secondary. This move would put Coby Bryant opposite of Tariq Woolen, with Branch shifting to a nickel position. It’s not a sexy move in general, but one that could get the Seahawks over the hump.
21. Miami Dolphins
***Forfeited***
22. Los Angeles Chargers
Siaki Ika, DL, Baylor
Looking at the board in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft 4 rounds mock, and it’s not looking great for the Chargers. There isn’t a wide receiver that I’d consider drafting with this pick. Further, I don’t see the offensive line or linebacker as areas that need to be addressed in the first round.
It’s a bit of a reach at 21 to select Siaki Ika, but he’s a disrupter on the defensive line, and that can’t be ignored.
23. Baltimore Ravens
Lukas Van Ness, EDGE, Iowa
The Ravens defensive front is aging, and injecting some youth into the depth chart would be a wise decision for the franchise. There were some guys that had nice performances at the 2023 Reese’s Senior Bowl, although I still believe that Lukas Van Ness ranks above them.
Baltimore has a big decision ahead of them regarding the quarterback position. They could look at trading back and target someone like Hendon Hooker, who is coming off an ACL injury. However, I think the best option is to go bets available at the EDGE position.
** 24. New Orleans Saints (Via Minnesota Vikings)
Anthony Richardson, QB, Florida
With Tom Brady retiring, the list of free agent QBs is diminishing. Raiders QB Derek Carr is an option, although I think his contract is enough to scare some teams away.
This moved involved the Minnesota Vikings trading back, but more importantly, the New Orleans Saints moving up. They have picks at 30 and 41 following the Sean Payton trade to Denver. It might take both picks to move up, but one that the Saints will certainly consider.
25. Jacksonville Jaguars
Devon Witherspoon, CB, Illinois
The Jaguars have a need at cornerback, and are in a great position to fill it in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft 4 rounds mock. Devon Witherspoon has been rising up many draft boards over the last several months. If he’s still on the board when Jacksonville goes on the clock, it should be a no-brainer for them.
26. New York Giants
Trenton Simpson, LB, Clemson
The New York Giants need to find an answer at the outside receiver position, but I don’t see one at this point in the 2023 NFL Draft. There were several guys that showed out at the 2023 Senior Bowl, But I think they’ll be available later in the draft.
Trenton Simpson is my best pure-linebacker in this draft class. If he’s still on the board, i think it’s a no-brainer. If he’s not, Arkansas’ Drew Sanders could be an option.
27. Dallas Cowboys
Bijan Robinson, RB, Texas
This isn’t a pick that fills a pressing need, but one that I think gains momentum as we get closer to the 2023 NFL Draft. Tony Pollard’s rookie contract is up and is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. Ezekiel Elliott has a long-term deal, the the Cowboys do have an out this offseason. I think it’s more likely that they restructure his contract instead.
However, if the Cowboys want to move on from Tony Pollard, I think they have a more dynamic option available.
28. Buffalo Bills
O’Cyrus Torrence, IOL, Florida
Finding a guard and slot receiver are two of my most pressing needs for the Buffalo Bills. O’Cyrus Torrence had a good week in Mobile for the 2023 Senior Bowl. Aside from john Michael Schmitz, I think he had the best week among interior offensive linemen.
Looking at the board, as well as their needs, I just see this being the spot where they pick an offensive lineman.
29. Cincinnati Bengals
Antonio Johnson, S, Texas A&M
Antonio Johnson is a free safety that would fit into the Bengals defense quite well. For a team that failed to get over the hump during the 2022 NFL season, I think this is the right move to get them back into the Super Bowl.
** 30. Minnesota Vikings (Via New Orleans Saints)
Clark Phillips III, CB, Utah
I had the Minnesota Vikings move back in this 2023 NFL Mock Draft 4 rounds mock following a trade with the Saints. Had they remained at 24, I thought corner would be their most likely option. With Clark Phillips III still on the board, I think it remains their best available option.
31. Kansas City Chiefs
Broderick Jones, OT, Georgia
The Kansas City Chiefs have been a very solid team since Andy Reid took over in 2013. They’ve made the Super Bowl once again, and quite frankly, I don’t know how you can improve this franchise. However, with Orlando Brown Jr in the final year of his contract, an offensive tackle is an area of need for the Chiefs. I have a much higher grade on Broderick Jones than where he’s coming off the board, but it’s been difficult finding a place for him to fit in.
32. Philadelphia Eagles
Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Alabama
How do you make the best team in football better?
For me, that’s mocking one of the top running backs on the draft board. The Eagles have Miles Sanders, but he’s set to become a free agent this offseason. Kenneth Gainwell has been fantastic for the Eagles, but they need to find someone that can compliment his playing-style.

57. Jacksonville Jaguars – Luke Musgrave, TE, Oregon State
58. New York Giants – Cedric Tillman, WR, Tennessee
59. Dallas Cowboys – Rashee Rice, WR, SMU
60. Buffalo Bills – Tyjae Spears, RB, Tulane
61. Cincinnati Bengals – Dalton Kincaid, TE, Utah
