Bio
2024 NFL Draft Scouting Report: Florida State QB Jordan Travis
Florida State quarterback Jordan Travis hails from a very athletic family, as his brother, Devin, played baseball at Florida State and professionally with the Toronto Blue Jays. Jordan isn’t far from the tree, showing solid athletic ability as a quarterback, and was once a highly decorated 3A-football player in Florida. After initially committing to Louisville in 2018, Travis entered the transfer portal in 2019 and made a move to Florida State, where he has shown marked improvement every year he has been there.
Projected 40 Time
Projected 40 Time: 4.56 Seconds.
Jordan Travis has several tools that NFL teams are looking for, which could make him a very sought-after quarterback in the class of 2024. He has a good arm, shows the ability to maneuver the pocket, and can make strong pre-snap reads with a strong football IQ that allows him to process information very well. He can make good accurate throws to the middle and intermediate areas ot the field, and his mobility allows him to be a very strong west-coast style prospect.
Accuracy going deep downfield still leaves a lot to be desired. Travis throws a lot of jump balls and hasn’t yet mastered deep placement. His inconsistent platform often causes issues with accuracy in general as sometimes he will miss give-me throws. When he is flushed outside of the pocket, he is mostly effective as a runner and doesn’t throw well off platform.

Travis was named 2017 FHSAA 3-A Player of the Year and Palm Beach Player of the Year and was a Florida Dairy Farmers Mr. Football Award finalist. He was the conference’s Offensive Player of the Year as a junior.
