2024 NFL Draft: Nelson Ceaser Draft Profile and Scouting Report
Nelson Ceaser began playing college ball for the University of Houston in 2019 as a true freshman. He saw action in four games, which preserved his redshirt. The following season, he played in two games in a COVID-shortened season, which allowed him another year of eligibility. In 2021, Ceaser played in 12 games for the Cougars as a defensive tackle, finishing with 22 tackles and 3.5 sacks. He made 11 starts at defensive end in 2022 for Houston, where he ended up with 36 total tackles, including 10 tackles for a loss, 4 sacks, and 1 interception. Nelson Ceaser finished the 2023 season with 9.5 sacks and an invitation to the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl.
