2024 NFL Draft: Cooper Beebe Draft Profile and Scouting Report
Cooper Beebe first came onto the scene in 2020 during a season that was shortened due to the pandemic. He’s a versatile offensive lineman, having contributed at both tackle positions, as well as left guard. He can play several positions at the next level, but I think the most comfortable for him would be at guard.
Cooper Beebe 40 Time
Projected 40 Time: 5.28 seconds
Cooper Beebe is a four-year starter on the offensive line for the Kansas State Wildcats. He started all 14 games at left guard last season, but has also spent some time at both tackle positions. Beebe possesses solid height and good weight for the offensive line position. Our projected 40 time of 5.28 seconds would be considered solid as it’s on par with the league average.
Cooper Beebe displays good explosiveness and agility to execute pull blocks efficiently. He has good speed to get out of his stance quickly and squares up defenders well. He maintains a low pad level at the snap to create drive and push in the running game. Shows an excellent ability to anchor and hold ground versus the power rush inside.
However, he struggles to keep defenders in front of him when facing aggressive hands inside. Displays an adequate ability to drive through defenders to create space consistently. Inconsistent ability to identify and attack defensive linemen on delayed blitzes up the middle.
Recruiting Bio
Cooper Beebe graduated from Piper High School in Kansas City, Kansas, where he played football for head coach Rick Pollard. 247Sports and ESPN both had Beebe ranked as a three star recruiting prospect out of high school. He scored an 82.65 in the On3 Industry Ranking, which was good enough for 1,319 nationally. 247 Sports, ESPN, and On3 all had Cooper Beebe ranked as a top 15 prospect out of the state of Kansas.
Prior to his commitment to Kansas state, Cooper Beebe had offers from Minnesota and Kansas. In April of 2018, Beebe committed to Kansas State. He signed his letter of intent later that year in December. He officially enrolled at Kansas State in July of 2019.
Cooper Beebe has an estimated NIL worth of $435,000.
