Jawhar Jordan began his collegiate career at Syracuse in 2019, where he played in four games and redshirted. Appeared in three games in 2020, utilizing the opportunity to redshirt due to the shortened season. Following the season, he announced that he would enter the transfer portal, finding his way to Louisville. He was used as a reserve player in 2021, carrying the ball 14 times. Had an increased role in 2022, rushing for 815 yards on 142 carries with 4 touchdowns. Jawhar Jordan had a breakout season in 2023, carrying the ball 181 times for 1,128 yards and 13 touchdowns, along with 21 receptions for 246 yards.
