Kamren Kinchens 40 Time
Projected 40 Time: 4.52* seconds
Kamren Kinchens began his collegiate career for the University of Miami Hurricanes in 2021, where he saw significant playing time as a true freshman. He started the final five games of the season his freshman season, which is where he’s remained ever since. He possesses good height and solid weight for the position when compared to the league average. Our projected 40 time of 4.52 seconds for Kamren Kinchens is at the league average for the position as well.
Kinchens displays a good ability to get physical at the catch point to disrupt the completion. He shows a solid ability to set the edge in intermediate traffic and force the runner back inside. He has a very good tackling ability, whether that’s out in space or in traffic. Displays a good range to attack the ball in the flats from deep safety position. Shows very good acceleration and vision to sack the quarterback when asked to blitz from the safety position.
However, there are some areas in which Kamren Kinchens could improve, too. He displays an adequate awareness to locate receivers when in zone coverage. However, he will let the occasional receiver slip past him and out into the open field. Shows a tendency to bite on routes early, opening up the deep field for the receiver. When pass rushing at the line of scrimmage, he has shown inconsistencies with being able to locate running backs that sneak out into the flats. When outside the numbers in coverage, will occasionally lose sight of runners up the middle of the field. At the point of attack, he can struggle to read and attack the RPO.
