2025 NFL Draft: Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan Draft Profile and Scouting Report

Tetairoa McMillan is a big-bodied athlete that excels in all categories at the wide receiver position. He’s an intelligent runner that uses his frame and athleticism to separate from defenders. McMillan has been a top draft prospect all season, which should continue in the lead up to the 2025 NFL Draft.

Tetairoa McMillan 40 Time

Projected 40 Time: 4.45 seconds

Tetairoa McMillan is a third-year wide receiver for the University of Arizona Wildcats. He typically lines up as an outside receiver, but is capable of routes originating from the slot, too. He has excellent height and weight when compared to the NFL average. Our projected 40 time of 4.45 seconds is slightly quicker than the league average.

McMillan is a crisp route-runner. He explodes out of the top of the route to create separation from the defender. Additionally, Tetairoa McMillan doesn’t hear footsteps when thrown the ball in coverage. He has a wide catch radius and is fully capable of climbing the ladder to make catches above his normal reach.

While Tetairoa McMillan does possess a second gear, I wouldn’t say that he’s an elusive receiver in space. Further, his ability to maintain blocking assignments downfield.

Recruiting Bio

Tetairoa McMillan was a four-star recruiting prospect out of Servite High School in Anaheim, California. In addition to football, McMillan also played basketball and volleyball. McMillan began receiving offers to several top programs in the country in 2020, including Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, and Penn State.

In August of 2021, Tetairoa McMillan announced his commitment to the University of Oregon. However, a few months later in December, McMillan switched his commitment to Arizona. In January of 2022, McMillan enrolled at the University of Arizona.
