Carson Beck 40 Time

Projected 40 Time: 4.85 seconds

Carson Beck is a two-year starter for the University of Georgia Bulldogs. He possesses solid height and weight for the quarterback position when compared to the league average. Our projected 40 time of 4.85 for Carson Beck is just slightly slower than the league average.

Carson Beck is capable of resetting his feet quickly when needed and possesses a quick throwing motion to expedite the release of the ball. Shows a good ability to remain calm in the pocket, even when it begins to collapse. Processes quickly when asked to make multiple reads across the field in a short amount of time. He has good accuracy on short and intermediate throws, along with fine accuracy on deep throws. Possesses very good velocity on throws across the field. He’s capable of climbing the pocket to avoid outside pressure to pickup yardage and keep the play alive.

However, Beck can struggle at times to sense pressure in the pocket and execute a solid escape plan. At times, his internal clock can run a bit long, which can put him into unnecessary trouble. There are occasions on film where Carson Beck will try to fit a throw into a tough situation, rather than the easier completion.
