Tyler Warren 40 Time

Projected 40 Time: 4.64 seconds

Tyler Warren is a fifth-year senior tight end for Penn State. He’s a versatile weapon for their offense, lining up on the line of scrimmage, in the slot, or out of the backfield. As a receiver, he’s mostly used to open up the field by running routes into the flat or up the seam. Additionally, he is also a running threat for the Nittany Lions. He measures off the charts with above-average height and weight for the position. Our projected 40 time of 4.64 is a tenth quicker than average.

Tyler Warren shows to have good quickness off the line of scrimmage to get upfield quickly. He also displays an ability to process quickly to find a lull in coverage and sit on the route. He has a good catch radius to snag balls that are placed away from his chest. With the ball in his hands, he displays good contact balance to remain upright and fighting for yards. As a run blocker, he displays an ability to drive and steer the defender to open up running lanes.

However, there are some inconsistencies on film. While he can block out in space, he’s unable to do so consistently. Additionally, he can struggle to handle moves inside as a blocker on the line of scrimmage.
