Sedrick Van Pran has been the starting center for the University of Georgia Bulldogs offense since the beginning of the 2021 season. He was named a first-team all-American by ESPN and Sports Illustrated for the 2023 season. He was a finalist for the Rimington Trophy, which is awarded to the best center in college football. Furthermore, he was named the 2023 SEC Jacob Blocky Trophy winner, which is presented to the SEC’s top offensive lineman. He accepted an invitation to the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl in mid-December.

Cooper Beebe first came onto the scene in 2020 during a season that was shortened due to the pandemic. He’s a versatile offensive lineman, having contributed at both tackle positions, as well as left guard. He can play several positions at the next level, but I think the most comfortable for him would be at guard.

Zak Zinter joined the University of Michigan program in 2020, coming in as an interior offensive lineman. In a shortened season, Zinter made four starts at right guard for the Wolverines. Over the next two seasons, Zak Zinter continued to make starts at right guard on the Michigan offensive line, which won the Joe Moore Award in 2021 and 2022. In the last game of the 2023 season, in a game against Ohio State, Zinter sustained a broken fibula and tibia, which will likely keep him out of competition at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine.

Zach Frazier spent the 2020 season, his first on campus, at the left guard position. However, in the offseason, he made the switch to center for the Mountaineers. Since the 2021 season, Frazier has been a reliable starter at center for West Virginia, earning multiple honors each season for his play on the field. In mid-November, he received and accepted an invitation to the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Since his arrival on campus prior to the 2021 season, Jackson Powers-Johnson has been a dominant and versatile player on the offensive line. During his freshman and sophomore seasons, Powers-Johnson started for the Ducks at multiple positions, including center, both guard positions, and right tackle. However, for the 2023 season, he moved full-time to center, locking down the starting job for the Ducks. Jackson Powers-Johnson declared for the 2024 NFL Draft in mid-December.

Christian Mahogany redshirted in 2019, his first season on campus at Boston College. However, in 2020, he was named a starter for the Eagles at left guard. He spent the 2021 season at right guard. Christian Mahogany missed the 2022 season due to a knee injury. However, he bounced back in 2023 and was named to Pro Football Focus’ All-ACC team at right guard. He declared for the 2024 NFL Draft in late-December.

Christian Haynes has been a consistent presence at right guard since his arrival on campus for the Huskies. Haynes redshirted in 2018, his first year on campus, but did appear in two games that season. Since then, he has started at right guard on a consistent basis, earning recognition along the way. He received an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl, but accepted an invitation to play in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Dominick Puni spent the first four years of his collegiate career playing for the University of Central Missouri in the FCS. At UCM, Puni played all over the offensive line, but spent a lot of time at both tackle positions. Following the 2021 season, Dominick Puni entered the transfer portal after his HC and OL coach left the program. Puni found his way to the Kansas Jayhawks, where he became an immediate starter at left guard. For the 2023 season, Puni moved to left tackle.

Javion Cohen began his college ball as a reserve player on the offensive line for the University of Alabama. Became a starter at left guard to begin the 2021 season, but saw his role diminished for the 2022 season, where he started most games, but was also a depth piece at guard for the Crimson Tide. Transferred to the Miami Hurricanes for the 2023 season, where he started all season long at left guard and was an All-ACC honorable mention.

Layden Robinson has spent his entire career at Texas A&M University playing the right guard position for the Aggies. He earned scout team honors in 2019, his first season on campus. He became a full-time starter for the Aggies for the 2021 season, but missed two games with an injury. He earned All-SEC first and second-team honors from PFF and AP, respectively. Layden Robinson accepted an invitation to play in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl in early-December.

Sataoa Laumea has spent his entire collegiate career at the university of Utah, playing multiple positions on the offensive line. In 2019, Laumea’s first season on campus, he redshirted, but did see some playing time against UCLA. The following year, in a shortened season, he started all five game sat right guard for the Utes. He started the final 13 games of the 2021 season at right guard as well. However, for the next two seasons, Sataoa Laumea made the transition to right tackle, where he earned 2022 Pac-12 first-team All-Conference honors.

In 2019, Beaux Limmer’s first year on campus at the University of Arkansas, he saw action in four games for the Razorbacks as a right guard. Limmer had five starts for the Razorbacks in 2020, all of which were at right guard. Over the next two seasons, Beaux Limmer was the full-time starter at right guard for Arkansas, although he did make the switch to center for the 2022 Liberty Bowl. This season, Beaux Limmer was the starting center for the Razorbacks, which earned him an invitation to play in the 2024 Shrine Bowl.

Out of high school, Brandon Coleman started his college ball at Trinity Valley Community College, but after one season, he transferred to TCU. He saw some playing time in 2020, but an injury ended his season prematurely. He returned to start at both guard positions for the Horned Frogs in 2021, with a move to left tackle for the 2022 season. However, Coleman returned to left guard for the 2023 season. He has accepted an invitation to play in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Out of high school, Isaiah Adams enrolled at Wilfrid Laurier University, before transferring to Garden City Community College. Following his sophomore season, Adams transferred to the University of Illinois. Adams spent most of the 2022 season at left guard, but did make one start at right tackle. For the 2023 season, the role was reversed as Adams made 10 starts at right tackle and 2 at left guard. Isaiah Adams accepted an invitation to play in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl, where his participation will give a clearer indication as to where teams view his position fit.

Drake Nugent began his college ball at Stanford University, where he came in as a top 20 center out of high school. Nugent played in two games in 2019, his first year on campus, and as a result, redshirted for the season. The following season, Drake Nugent only appeared in one game for the Cardinals. However, over the next two seasons, Nugent started every game for Stanford at center, earning accolades for his play. Nugent entered the transfer portal prior to this season as a graduate student, finding his way to Michigan, where he was a Rimington Trophy finalist and first-team All-Big Ten selection.
