If you hang around the Reese’s Senior Bowl, you’ll be fortunate enough to run into an NFL scout or two. The talk all week are usually the guys that dominate practices and crush it in the interviews. Throughout all of the conversations I’ve had in Mobile, the player that seems to come up more and more during these conversations is Tulane WR Jha’Quan Jackson.

As The Athletic’s Dane Brugler mentioned, Jha’Quan Jackson has been one of the most consistent players down here. In competitions, Jackson has been able to separate from defenders and give the group of quarterbacks here a solid cushion to place the ball into. South Carolina WR Xavier Legette and Florida State WR Johnny Wilson have also created a lot of buzz here in Mobile, but in terms of consistency, I still fall back to the performances that Jackson has put on film as some of the best I’ve seen down here.

Jha’Quan Jackson 2024 NFL Draft Projection

Heading into the 2024 NFL Draft, I had a mid-to-late day three projection on Jha’Quan Jackson. Given what I’ve heard down here at the Senior Bowl, I see the draft stock for Jha’Quan Jackson to be much higher than that coming out of Mobile. If I had to guess at this point, I think he’s more likely to come off the board early on day three. However, if he can continue to impress at the 2024 NFL Combine, as well as his Pro Day, that draft projection could reach into a late day two pick.

The 2024 NFL Combine kicks off on February 29th, but we’ll see Jha’Quan Jackson, as well as all of the other wide receivers, take the field on Saturday, March 2nd.
