On Saturday, from the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl press box, there were audible groans as Jalen Milroe’s week finished with a turnover on downs. Down by three and with eight minutes on the clock, Milroe got the opportunity to lead his team down the field one more time. The drive began with a sack, followed by two short passes. Facing fourth down, the Crimson Tide QB snapped the ball and scrambled to the right side of the field but was tackled for no gain. Those of us remaining in the press box looked at one another with a “what else…

One of the most impressive players this week hasn’t been a prospect at the top of the 2025 NFL Draft board. With stars like Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart and Minnesota OT Aireontae Ersery on the roster, one would have expected them to come out of the week as one of the top performers. Rather, it’s TCU wide receiver Jack Bech. Bech, wearing his late-brother’s #7 jersey, has been one of the most impressive, as well as the most consistent, at the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl. Jack Bech currently sits outside of the top 100 on NFL Mock Draft Database.…

With the 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl practices in the rear view, it’s time to recap the week. An infamous part of the week are the “Stock Up, Stock Downs” that we see as members of the media catch up to NFL scouts. However, another part of the week is what we can’t necessarily see with the naked eye. Zebra Technologies has partnered with the Senior Bowl to provide valuable metrics. These are measurables like max acceleration and deceleration, explosive efforts, and distance traveled. On day two, Iowa State CB Darien Porter topped the Zebra speed charts as he topped out…

The Reese’s Senior Bowl isn’t just for the prospects from the SEC, Big Ten, and ACC. Prospects from smaller schools in the Power Four, HBCU, U Sports, and FCS level are down here, too. Alabama A&M’s Crason Vinson has been impressive. So too has Laurier QB Taylor Elgersma. However, the most impressive player this week at EDGE, outside of Marshall’s Mike Green, has been David Walker from Central Arkansas. David Walker has been able to put on a clinic throughout all three practices here at the 2025 Senior Bowl. Last season, David Walker finished with 68 total tackles for the…

The Reese’s Senior Bowl is an event where money can be won or lost. Similar to a casino, NFL Draft prospects push the chips into the center of the table, go all in, and bet on themselves. While there are plenty of examples of it not working out, there are also examples of it being positive for prospects. Zion Johnson, an offensive line standout from Boston College, took reps at center to showcase his versatility. Ultimately, Johnson came off the board at 17th overall to the Chargers. This year, UNC interior offensive lineman Willie Lampkin is wowing everyone in attendance.…
