The 2022 NFL Draft process has begun. We’re halfway through the regular season and film is starting to roll in for evaluators. Up to this point, it’s been well documented how poorly the 2022 NFL Draft QB class has played. Furthermore, we still don’t have a clear QB1 in this class. Regardless, there are several prospects that are playing great football this season, such as Liberty QB Malik Willis. However, Pitt QB Kenny Pickett is soaring up draft boards. While he might be unknown at this point, I firmly believe that he’ll be one of the most-coveted passers next April.
Be sure to follow NFL Draft Lounge for more coverage on Kenny Pickett and the 2022 NFL Draft. As always, you can find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
Below, I’ve included a tweet from Pro Football Focus College. As you can see from the stat included, Kenny Pickett is having an incredible season thus far.

Where Will Kenny Pickett Be Selected In The 2022 NFL Draft?
Currently, I have a late-second to early-third round grade on Pickett. However, I still think there’s room for the Pitt QB to rise. In fact, Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy seems to agree. Pickett has been one of Nagy’s sleepers heading into the season. Furthermore, Pickett is likely to be one of the quarterbacks playing in the Senior Bowl in January.
If that’s the case, I predict a sharp rise in his draft stock. While I believe that it’s unlikely that Pickett will have a Joe Burrow-esque meteoric rise, it’s still possible that the Pitt QB could enter the first round discussion.
Kenny Pickett is an exception nfl draft prospect with an NFL-caliber arm. He throws with great anticipation and accuracy on all throws, including those downfield. He has solid athleticism to escape the pocket and pickup the necessary yardage for a first down. However, he does lack the level of athleticism that others in the 2022 class possess.
