Take a stroll down the stands at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama during the Reese’s Senior Bowl and you’ll find yourself amongst the sea of media and draft analysts. As one of those, I love spending the week in town speaking with my peers to compare rankings. Through three days of practice at the 2025 Senior Bowl, Toledo DL Darius Alexander was a hot name. Alexander was a winner through three practices for the National team.

Darius Alexander has been a consistent Stock Up prospect all week, and for valid reasons. Last season, Alexander finished the year with 40 combined tackles, 8 of which were for a loss, and 3.5 of which were a sack. Tack on 4 pass breakups and 1 interception and that’s a successful season.
But it doesn’t stop there for the Toledo defensive line star. In 2024, according to PFF, Alexander finished the season with a 90.2 defensive grade. This ranked 3rd in FBS, just behind Mason Graham and Peyton Zdroik. Alexander capped off his season by earning an invitation to both the Shrine Bowl and the Senior Bowl. Opting for the latter, Darius Alexander has made the most of it, Earning honors as the National Team Defensive Lineman Player of the Week.
