I can’t help but fall in love with an NFL Draft prospect that plays to his potential and dominates. When it comes to EDGE rushers, I want to see elite hand placement, a plan of attack, and a consistent effort each and every play. Michigan EDGE Aidan Hutchinson has been that and more this season. In fact, it’s quite possible that Aidan Hutchinson can play himself into a top 2022 NFL Draft pick.
NFL Scouts have taken notice of Hutchinson. Furthermore, I think it’s only a matter of time until we see NFL Draft analysts mention Hutchinson in consideration for a top fifteen pick. In fact, The Athletic’s Dane Brugler is already there.

The Michigan Wolverines opened their season on September 4th against Western Michigan. While it’s a lesser opponent, the Big Ten’s Michigan dominated the Broncos. A big part of that domination was Aidan Hutchinson. Below, you can see just how dominant Hutchinson was.

How High Can Aidan Hutchinson Get Drafted In The 2022 NFL Draft?
Last month, when we debuted our 2022 NFL Draft Big Board Top 100 Rankings, Hutchinson was listed at 32nd overall. Additionally, I released my first mock draft of the season recently, and had Aidan Hutchinson headed to Baltimore with the 27th pick. However, I think it’s fair to say that he’s already played himself into a higher draft pick. If he can continue to play at a high level, I can envision NFL front offices falling in love with his technique. As a result, I don’t think it’s crazy to see him drafted in the top-ten to top-fifteen. With Oregon EDGE Kayvon Thibodeaux sidelined due to an ankle injury, it’s an opportunity for Aidan Hutchinson to climb the ladder into a top draft selection.
