Week 15 of the NFL Season is upon us, so it’s time to release our latest 2024 NFL Mock Draft. I haven’t released a mock draft since the season began, so this one will give us a little bit clearer picture of how things might play out during the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. As is the case with most of my mock drafts that are released this early, this one doesn’t include trades.
Be sure to follow NFL Draft Lounge for more coverage on week 15, as well as this 2024 NFL Mock Draft. As always, you can find us on Facebook, X, and Instagram.
1. Chicago Bears (via Carolina Panthers)
Marvin Harrison Jr, WR, Ohio State
For the sake of having a little bit of fun with this mock draft, let’s assume that the Bears are satisfied with Justin Fields.
They have a real opportunity to make an impact in the 2024 NFL Draft with two picks that could end up in the top five overall. Marvin Harrison Jr might be the best overall prospect in this class. He’ll make an impact wherever he’s drafted, but for Chicago, would take pressure off of DJ Moore and give Fields another weapon to work with.
2. New England Patriots
Caleb Williams, QB, Southern California
If the Chicago Bears pass on a quarterback, then they’re giving the New England Patriots a tremendous gift. When he’s working off-script, I don’t know if there’s going to be a better quarterback in the league than Caleb Williams. However, when he has to work from the pocket, and with poor offensive line help, that’s where things get a bit more convoluted.
3. Arizona Cardinals
Malik Nabers, WR, LSU
Malik Nabers has taken tremendous strides this season to solidify himself as one of the top wide receivers in this draft class. I’m still not as high on him as the consensus appears to be, but he should be a nice piece for the Cardinals offense.
4. Washington Commanders
Joe Alt, OT, Notre Dame
The best thing that the Commanders can do is thank Ron Rivera for his contributions and move on. Offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy is an obvious choice here. He’s done a solid job with Sam Howell and deserves a shot at the head coaching gig. Sam Howell also deserves a shot at showing what he can do in his second full season as the starting quarterback of the commanders. However, if they want to have success on offense, they’ll need to address their offensive line, which I have them doing with this pick.
5. Chicago Bears
Olumuyiwa Fashanu, OT, Penn State
Once again, we’re working under the assumption that the Bears are satisfied with their current quarterback situation.
With that being said, I don’t envision a scenario in which they can be satisfied with their offensive line. Let’s address that issue with this pick.
6. Las Vegas Raiders
Drake Maye, QB, North Carolina
Even if the Raiders are content with the job that Aidan O’Connell has done this season, I don’t know if they’d be able to pass on Drake Maye. Ultimately, I think Maye comes off the board earlier than sixth overall, but it’s tough to find a spot for him with the way this mock draft has fallen.
7. New York Jets
JC Latham, OT, Alabama
Even with Aaron Rodgers under center, this team still has some massive holes left to fill. In my opinion, the best thing that they can do is move out of this pick to obtain some much needed draft capital.
Nonetheless, if they think that they’re much closer to turning the corner, they could look to add an offensive line piece and push for a playoff spot in 2024.
8. New York Giants
Jayden Daniels, QB, LSU
Since his time at Arizona State, Jayden Daniels has improved in nearly every category across the board. I’m not sure if he’s a top ten prospect in this class, but the Giants could opt to bring in competition for Daniel Jones next season, with the expectation that Daniels can step into the starting job the following season full-time.
9. Tennessee Titans
Dallas Turner, EDGE, Alabama
The Titans may have found their quarterback in Will Levis. While I think that they’ll use several of their picks in the 2024 NFL Draft to build around Levis, I don’t think they should here.
Instead, let’s send them a young and talented prospect to anchor their pass rush for years to come in Alabama’s Dallas Turner. I think it’s crazy that we could have to wait until pick nine for a defensive player to come off the board, but I’m also not doing trades in this particular mock draft.
10. Los Angeles Chargers
Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
There are a lot of things for the Chargers to fix this offseason, which should start with finding a new head coach.
The Chargers have the weapons on offense, I just think they need to get more competitive on defense, while also not shooting themselves in the foot in terms of coaching decisions. Asante Samuel, Jr has been solid for the Chargers in the secondary. Pairing him with kool-Aid McKinstry could pay off big time for them.
11. Atlanta Falcons
Laiatu Latu, EDGE, UCLA
The Atlanta Falcons have a lot of unanswered questions this offseason. That should start with quarterback, but they’re out of position to do so here. Instead, I have them selecting a versatile pass rusher that can play several positions in the front seven. Laiatu Latu is a disruptive force on the defensive line with a high football IQ, which the Falcons could desperately use.
12. New Orleans Saints
Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
Wide receiver isn’t the most pressing need for the Saints, but it would really open up their offense. I think they have some of the right pieces in place, they just need to get better. Head coach Dennis Allen was in a tough spot replacing Sean Payton, which hasn’t gone well. I’d be shocked if New Orleans makes a change at head coach, but I also wouldn’t completely rule it out in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft week 15.
13. Seattle Seahawks
Jared Verse, EDGE, Florida State
If Seattle could pull off a trade to move up in the draft for a quarterback, I think they absolutely should. However, they’re likely going to be out of position to make a splash with the 13th pick.
Given how this mock draft has played out, I think the Seahawks are in a much better position to find a really solid EDGE rusher. Jared Verse was at the top of our draft board heading into the season. However, he’s been leaped by several others, which is why he’s still on the board here. Despite this, it doesn’t mean that he isn’t a top defensive prospect, as I still think he’s an impactful day one defender.
14. Los Angeles Rams
Brock Bowers, TE, Georgia
Cornerback is a realistic option for the Rams with this pick, but I actually think that a versatile tight end is the right move here. Los Angeles has addressed the position with some picks in the later rounds of the NFL Draft. By using this pick on a player of Brock Bowers’ caliber, it’ll mean that they can focus elsewhere for years to come.
15. Denver Broncos
Jer’Zhan Newton, DL, Illinois
Head coach Sean Payton and quarterback Russell Wilson have shown some great improvement on offense this season. As a result, I think they could take a hard look at a prospect like Jer’Zhan Newton to anchor their defensive line.
16. Arizona Cardinals (Via Houston Texans)
Nate Wiggins, CB, Clemson
This is Arizona’s second pick of our mock draft, in which they took LSU WR Malik Nabers with the third overall pick. This time around, let’s address one of their biggest needs in the secondary.
I love Nate Wiggins and what he brings to the table. I think his skills are very translatable into the NFL as a day one impact player.
17. Buffalo Bills
Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa
The Bills have been bitten by the injury bug in the secondary for much of the season. While it’s inevitable that those guys will get healthy, let’s find them someone that can play corner, as well as both safety positions in Cooper DeJean. 17th overall is probably a bit lower down the board than I think he’ll eventually come off the board, so the Bills get great value with this selection.
18. Cincinnati Bengals
Rome Odunze, WR, Washington
Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd are both set to hit unrestricted free agency this offseason. While the Bengals have done a solid job of trying to find depth pieces to fill roles at receiver, they really need to find someone that can be an everyday starter. If they can’t resign Higgins or Boyd, then I think finding someone like Rome Odunze is a smart decision.
19. Green Bay Packers
Amarius Mims, OT, Georgia
Jordan Love has played well this season at quarterback, which might be a surprise to some. With this pick, I want to address the offensive tackle position before it becomes a problem down the road. However, if the Packers want to go a different direction, finding an upgrade on defense is a direction that I would lean towards.
20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Chop Robinson, EDGE, Penn State
Unless they’re willing to give up a lot to move up for a quarterback, then I’m not really sure where the Buccaneers could go with this pick. Ultimately, I chose the best player available with Chop Robinson. He’s a versatile pass rusher that is fantastic off the edge and has excellent lateral agility to hold his own when dropping into coverage.
21. Indianapolis Colts
Bralen Trice, EDGE, Washington
The Indianapolis Colts have been much better this season, even if QB Anthony Richardson has only appeared in four games this season. GM Chris Ballard has done a nice job of keeping this roster full of young talent. I like the idea of injecting Bralen Trice into the pass rush with this pick. He was a prospect that was ranked a bit higher on my draft board entering the season. While he might rise a bit as the Huskies compete in the College Football Playoff, I think this is about the range where he’ll come off the board in the 2024 NFL Draft.
22. Minnesota Vikings
Michael Penix Jr, QB, Washington
I would be shocked if the Minnesota Vikings end up with a starting quarterback that is on their roster today. Instead, I’m going to have them target Michael Penix Jr. He’s a bit older than other quarterbacks at the top of the class, along with some past injuries that might worry some scouts. However, I think his skills and traits will trump any concerns once we get to the 2024 NFL Draft.
23. Pittsburgh Steelers
Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama
The Steelers have Patrick Peterson under contract for next season. By drafting Terrion Arnold here, they could shift either one to play the nickel position as a third corner on the field. Pittsburgh has plenty of other needs, but I think this move gives them the best bang for their buck, as well as draft value.
24. Houston Texans (Via Cleveland Browns)
JT Tuimoloau, EDGE, Ohio State
The Texans seem to have hit a home run with CJ Stroud and Tank Dell. With this pick, I want to continue to infuse this roster with some young talent. JT Tuimoloau is one of my favorite defensive prospects in this class. He’s a versatile player that can play nearly any pass rushing position, has a phenomenal football IQ, along with a super high-motor.
25. Kansas City Chiefs
Taliese Fuaga, OT, Oregon State
It’s always difficult to try and figure out what the Kansas City Chiefs will do with their selections in the NFL Draft, this year included. The offense hasn’t been what it has been over the last several seasons, so they could look to find an explosive player to try and open things back up. However, I think it’s more likely that they look at the offensive line with Taliese Fuaga in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft week 15.
26. Jacksonville Jaguars
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
With this pick, I’m going to have the Jaguars selecting Emeka Egbuka to take over the slot receiver position. Egbuka has been very strong all season long for the Buckeyes, which is why he’s in this position. For Jacksonville, this is about giving QB Trevor Lawrence another weapon on offense.
27. Detroit Lions
Kalen King, CB, Penn State
The Detroit Lions have really struggled over the last three weeks against mediocre teams. There doesn’t appear to be a singular fix for Detroit, but rather, several key positions that will likely need to be addressed. Let’s start with the cornerback position with Penn State’s Kalen King.
28. Philadelphia Eagles
Kamren Kinchens, S, Miami (FL)
It’s unlikely that the Eagles select a safety in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but it’s difficult to find any glaring holes on this roster. The Eagles used a third round pick on Sydney Brown in the 2023 NFL Draft, but by doing so here, I think they’ll provide some assurance that they can address other needs in years to come.
29. Miami Dolphins
Graham Barton, OT, Duke
I love what head coach Mike McDaniel is doing with the Miami Dolphins. The organization has a ton of talent on the offensive line, but they could use some depth. In my opinion, Graham Barton is locked in at tackle, but he would give the Dolphins some flexibility to move some pieces around to find the right combination if they can grab him in this 2024 NFL Mock Draft week 15.
30. Dallas Cowboys
Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
Tyron Smith is thirty-three years old and in the final year of his contract at left tackle. At 6’6, Kingsley Suamataia would be an excellent potential replacement for the Cowboys. He’s dropped a bit down draft boards, but I think those were just the natural ebb and flow of the college football season. I think we’ll see him a bit higher once we get through the pre-draft process.
31. San Francisco 49ers
Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
The San Francisco 49ers have a really solid roster across the board. With that being said, this is simply the best player available. However, I also think there’s a chance that Kamari Lassiter could see the field quite a bit next season.
32. Baltimore Ravens
Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
I don’t know how much gas Odell Beckham Jr has left in the tank, but even if they can resign him, I still think it would be a wise decision to find a fourth wide receiver for Lamar Jackson in this offense in this 2024 NFL Mock week 15.
